When is the RSVP deadline?
While RSVPs are not out yet, we expect to need them within 3 months of receipt.
What should I wear?
The dress code will be Cocktail.
Ladies: Please do not wear white/ivory! Bridal party will be wearing shades of sage.
Gentlemen: Please do not wear sneakers/cowboy boots. Do feel encouraged to bring a flask of whiskey.
Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Yes, there will be parking at both the ceremony location (Ascension Chinese Mission) and the reception (Houston Museum of National Science in Sugarland).
Please see the parking information details for both below. Please look at Google maps as they provide a good idea for what parking is available.
Ascension Chinese Mission: the Church has 2 parking lots on the sides of the church inside the black iron gates.
Houston Museum of National Science in Sugarland: There is a parking lot in front and behind the museum. Most people can park in the front.
There is no charge for parking at both places.
Can I bring a +1?
Though we have almost unlimited seating at the Church, we do have limited seating at the reception. We'd love to be able to give everyone a +1 but we have to keep the guest list to invited guests only. Please do NOT bring a +1 unless their name is specified on the invitations. You cannot sub your +1 if they are not able to attend.
Are kids welcomed?
Due to limited numbers, we hope you appreciate that children are only invited if named. Names of kids will be included in your invitations. RSVP for kids is limited to the kid specified. If your kid(s) can't make it, and/or you don't want to bring them, they cannot be replaced with another person.
Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?
No, please refrain from taking photos/videos during the church ceremony. We have a professionals taking care of everything. However, we would love for you to take photos and videos throughout the day and reception!
